That is about the silliest way I have ever heard of doing a number base conversion, but...
Remember: 6^1=6
6^2=36
6^3=216
so 555/216=2 with a remainder of 123
123 divided by 36 is 3 with a remainder of 15
15 divided by 6 is 2 with a remainder of 3
2323 base six
