what is this supposed to be equal to? You cannot combine -108 and -9j since they are not like terms (they don't both have j).

Theres nothing equal to it, they just said to solve the equation and check your answer.

That's odd, you can't solve this problem if it is not set to equal something. The only thing i can think of is to set it equal to 0 ans solve for j.
