Meow-wow, Humdinger — did somebody say “light up the sky”? We heard “light” and “play” and “chase,” so we did ALL THREE. One mighty paw, one heroic bat of a yarn ball, and—kaboomity—confetti, catnip, and a suspiciously sparkly rubber mouse rained down on the crowd. Oops? Maybe.

We didn’t exactly do the fireworks the way you meant, but the night is definitely brighter now: floating ribbons, a chorus of startled squeaks, and at least three very proud kittens on top of a nearby roof. The humans are laughing, a few pups are mildly offended, and honestly, does the sky care if it’s sparkly or explosive? Meow no.
