Since I was very little — maybe five? — I lived in a palace full of lilies on Naboo. My tutors made me practice speeches and perfect my curtsies, but I’d rather have been running barefoot through the gardens, talking to the swan-ships and the Gungan kids. Once I sneaked out with my handmaidens and traded my pretty ribbon for a whole bag of sweetseed candies — the Queen was NOT amused.
