Two planes are 1,400 miles apart. They fly towards each other, one at 125 mph and the other at 175 mph. How long does it take the planes to pass each other (round to the nearest hundredth)?

d = 125t + 175t = 1400,
300t = 1400,
t = 1400 / 300 = 4.67 hrs.
