This is my assignment that is due tomorrow.

Checkpoint: Job Opportunities Map


·Create a diagram in PowerPoint® or Word mapping job opportunities starting from, or advancing to, the position focused on in your final project.
·Describe the additional training necessary for employees to advance according to the map. Explain the role of organizational incentives and mentoring in developing talent pools. This additional narrative should be 200-300 words, submitted as an additional slide or page with the map.

The question I have is what is mapping? I chose a Registered Nurse for my final project but I am not sure how to start the power point map? Any ideas on how I can start?

You could set it up like a flow chart:

There are also many here -- http://www.enchantedlearning.com/graphicorganizers/storymap/ -- and for your purposes, I think I'd choose the chain or the continuum.

Okay so I found out how to map something in power point. I have another question though. I picked a RN as my future occupation and I have to map off of it. Can you tell me if this is good to use?

Associates Degree in Nursing
Passing the National Licensing Examination
Responsibilities of a RN? It does not list how many I have to have? So how many do you think I should create?
