First fill in the max. You know it has to be 8. The range of 6 tells you the min has to be 2 (8-6=2). You can then fill that in. The median has to be 5 so 2 5's in the middle spot will ensure that it's 5. The mode has to be 6, so we need at least 6 6's. You can then fill the rest of the numbers in, making sure they're in order and that you don't have 3 or more of any other number (because then the mode would change).
