Presentation software
Video recording device (optional)
As you start your new tech company, equipment (including a bunch of peripheral devices) has arrived at the office. You don’t have time to set up all of the devices at each workstation yourself, so you need to help your employees understand how easy it is to set up and use this new equipment so they can install it themselves on their own computers.

Step 1: Choose Your Equipment
You have a lot going on with the new company and don’t want to get too overwhelmed, so for now, you decide to start with just one piece of peripheral equipment to demonstrate for your employees. The packages you’ve received that you can choose from are:

Mouse
Keyboard
Microphone
Digital camera
Printer
Choose one from this list to demonstrate for your employees.

Step 2: Choose Your Demonstration Method
Everyone learns differently, and your employees are no exception. To communicate this information about the peripherals, you can create a slideshow OR do a video demonstration of how to connect and use these devices. Whichever method you choose, be sure to make your instructions and images very clear so your employees will know exactly what to do.

Note that you probably will only select the video option if you have some of the peripherals in the list in Step 1 available for physical demonstration. If you don’t, you might go with the slideshow option and include images that explain how to connect and use the peripheral.

Step 3: Demonstrate the Steps
No matter which method you choose in Step 2, make sure that your presentation talks your employees through how to connect the device to their computers, how to use it once it is setup, and why it is important for your business.
