AVID has significantly strengthened my organization skills, which has been a game-changer for my academic journey. Before joining AVID, I often struggled to keep track of assignments and important dates, leading to unnecessary stress and last-minute cramming. Through the various organizational tools and strategies I learned, such as using binders efficiently and maintaining a planner, I can now manage my workload more effectively. Moreover, the Cornell note-taking method has helped me retain information better and review my notes systematically. This newfound organization has not only improved my grades but also allowed me to balance my extracurricular activities with schoolwork seamlessly. Additionally, AVID has instilled in me a sense of accountability; I’m more aware of my responsibilities and priorities.
