Kim's ideas on how the man might be able to get the wagon out of the mud would best fit in section B: Plot/Problem. This section focuses on the challenges and issues faced by the characters in the story, and Kim's ideas would relate to resolving the main problem of the story—the wagon being stuck in the mud.
Once long ago, a strong man was driving a heavy load along a very muddy way. At last he came to a part of the road where the wheels sank half-way into the mud, and the more the horses pulled, the deeper the wheels sank. So the man jumped down from his wagon, and knelt down. He prayed to Hercules the Strong. “O Hercules, help me in this my hour of distress,” he begged. But Hercules appeared to him, and said:
“Look, man, don’t sprawl there. Get up and put your shoulder to the wheel.”
After reading this story, Kim began thinking of ways the man might be able to get the wagon out of the mud.
She wrote her ideas on a story map. Based on the organization of the story, in which section of the story map would her ideas BEST fit?
