One piece of evidence is that some studies show that homework doesn't always help students learn better, and sometimes it just adds stress. Another reason is that extracurricular activities like sports and clubs can teach important skills like teamwork, leadership, and time management. Lastly, giving kids more free time after school can help them relax and be happier, which might make them more successful in school too!
