1. Position Title: Forest Specialist
2. Location: Assigned Field In District
3. Purpose of the Role
The Forest Specialist is responsible for coordinating the implementation of project
activities within the assigned district, ensuring that project targets in agriculture,
agroforestry, and land restoration are effectively achieved. The role involves working
closely with community groups, cooperatives, local authorities, and technical
service providers to deliver field results in line with APEFA’s programmatic
standards.

4. Qualifications and Experience
1) Bachelor’s degree (A0) in Forestry and Agroforestry.
2) Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in forestry, agricultural extension,
rural development, or climate-resilient project implementation.
3) Good knowledge of project proposal development processes, including
technical input writing, understanding of donor expectations, and project
justification in the areas of forestry, climate change, and natural resources.
4) Demonstrated ability to work independently in rural and field-based
environments.
5) Driving license CAT A
