Why should we bear witness with a sense of urgency?

Most of us can engage in the house-to-house ministry and other features of the disciple-making work. So let each of us do everything possible to fulfill our role as Kingdom proclaimers, sharing in bearing witness “to the most distant part of the earth.” This work must be done with a sense of urgency, for “the sign” of Christ’s presence is clearly in evidence. (Matt. 24:3-14) There is no time to lose. Right now, we have “plenty to do in the work of the Lord.”—1 Cor. 15:58.

We should bear witness with urgency because the signs of Christ’s presence are evident, indicating that time is limited. Engaging in ministry now is crucial as we have important work to do in sharing the Kingdom message. Every moment counts, and we must fulfill our role as Kingdom proclaimers.
