Lisa and her mom had listened to the weather report, but the report said there would be no rain during the weekend. “Oh, no!” Lisa cried to her dad. “This rain ruins everything! I invited all my friends to visit. I promised that we would play ball and run races outside and that we’d grill hot dogs for supper.” “And on Saturday morning, I brought all the food to be grilled,” Mom said. “Now, what are we going to do?” asked Lisa. “Don’t worry,” Dad said. “We can still play indoor games and still cook in the kitchen. Let’s go for some board games. We won’t let the rain spoil our party.”
