In my previous warehouse job, I received basic training that included safety procedures, equipment use, and a brief period of shadowing another employee. While this helped me get started, the training lacked structure and didn’t offer much opportunity for growth. I would have liked to receive cross-training in other roles, like inventory or logistics, to become more versatile and valuable to the team. Additional training in communication and problem-solving would also have helped me work more effectively with others and handle challenges more confidently. Overall, more structured and varied training would have better prepared me for long-term success.
