In a six graders response compare and contrast a predator prey relationship and a parasitic relationship. respond in three sentences.

1 answer

A predator-prey relationship involves one animal, the predator, hunting and eating another animal, the prey, which usually leads to the prey's death. In contrast, a parasitic relationship involves one organism, the parasite, living inside or on another organism, the host, and taking nutrients from it, often harming the host but not always killing it. While both relationships involve one organism benefiting at the expense of another, predators usually kill their prey, while parasites often keep their host alive for a longer period.
