A. Camels have been very useful to mankind down throughout history.
The camel has been used by man for thousands of years. Early civilizations in arid areas of the Earth found the camel to be the ideal beast of burden because of the unique body adaptions that it has. Also, the camel could withstand the heat of the desert, eat very rough food sources, and carry heavy burdens.
