Celine Dion is my gold pick because she sang songs that people all over the world loved. Her song “My Heart Will Go On” was super famous. She showed that someone from Canada can be a big star. Her voice was strong, and many people still listen to her music today.

Silver – Wayne Gretzky
Wayne Gretzky is my silver pick because he was the best hockey player and made hockey more popular. He played in the U.S. but came from Canada. He made Canada proud and showed how good Canadian players are.

Bronze – Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey is my bronze pick because he made funny movies that people around the world liked. He was in movies like The Mask and Dumb and Dumber. He is Canadian and showed that people from Canada can be big stars in Hollywood too.

Gold – Céline Dion (Music Icon)

Celine Dion was a music icon who was behind many great hits of the 1990's for example My Heart Will Go On. She Won multiple Grammys and sold millions of albums worldwide. She made hits that are still heard today and that's the reason I picked her

Silver – Jim Carrey (Actor & Comedian)

Jim Carrey was one of the highest payed actors in the 1990's and he was in huge movies and shows for example Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Liar Liar. Jim Carrey showed Canadians that you can make it huge in a American market Like Hollywood

Bronze – David Suzuki (Environmental Advocate)

David Suzuki was an environmental advocate who fought for Indigenous knowledge and science-based environmentalism. He Became a trusted global voice on climate change and sustainability. In my option he was a huge figure in the 1990's and showed Canadians that you should always fight for what you think is right.
