Because of the horrible destruction they cause, hurricanes take many lives each year. The worst part of this is people don’t have to die from these disasters. Having an established evacuation plan is one thing that can be done to prevent lives from being lost. People that live in the cities and towns in the paths of hurricanes need to be evacuated. Not everyone who live in these cities and towns have transportation, so the city must provide ways for these individuals to be picked up and dropped off at the arranged, safe drop-off zones. Having better evacuation procedures would save lives.
