Who wrote the Brandenburg concertos

The Brandenburg Concertos were written by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach. He composed them in the early 18th century, specifically between 1711 and 1720, and they are considered some of the finest examples of the concerto grosso form. The concertos are named after Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg, to whom Bach dedicated the collection.
