We may be more excited about engaging in other forms of sacred service than we are about sharing in the public preaching work. Why? We may see immediate results and feel a sense of accomplishment when we build and maintain theocratic buildings, assist with disaster relief, or encourage our brothers. We enjoy the atmosphere of peace and love that we experience when working with our brothers, and we know that what we do for them is appreciated. On the other hand, we may have been preaching for years in the same territory with little positive response. Or we may meet people who reject the message. We also know that as the end draws near, our message may become more unpopular. (Matt. 10:22) What can help us to maintain or even increase our zeal for the preaching work?

What can sometimes make it hard to maintain zeal for the ministry?
Make it short and simple

Maintaining zeal for the ministry can be challenging due to the lack of immediate results, encountering rejection, or experiencing discouragement from limited responses in preaching efforts. As the message may become less popular, it can further dampen enthusiasm for sharing it.
