The cellular DNA is enclosed in a nucleus in cells of the following group:
c) eukaryotes
Eukaryotic cells, which include organisms such as animals, plants, fungi, and protists, have their DNA contained within a membrane-bound nucleus. In contrast, prokaryotes (including bacteria and archaea) do not have a nucleus; their DNA is located in the cytoplasm. Viruses are not considered cellular organisms and do not have a cellular structure, so their DNA is not enclosed in a nucleus.
