If I lived during the Progressive Era, I would have been most supportive of the Abolition Movement. This movement was super important because it fought to end slavery and help African Americans gain freedom and equal rights. I believe everyone should have the same opportunities, and it’s just not fair to treat people differently because of the color of their skin. By supporting the Abolition Movement, I would be helping to create a better and more just society where everyone is treated equally. Plus, ending slavery would be the right thing to do to make sure no one suffers in that way again.
