Insulators have a higher resistance compared to conductors. Conductors, such as metals like copper and aluminum, allow electric current to flow easily due to the presence of free electrons. In contrast, insulators, such as rubber or glass, have very few free electrons, making it difficult for electric current to pass through them. As a result, insulators resist the flow of electric current much more than conductors do.
Resistance is a measure of how much a material opposes the flow of electric current through a material. Which type of material has a higher resistance- a conductor or an insulator?
