if you add 2t + 1 =3 so 3-1=2 so 2 times what equals 2. not -1 because that would equal negative 2. its 1 because 2 times 1 is 2 plus 1 is three.
Answered by Ms. Sue
It's not -1.

2t + 1 = 3
Subtract 1 from each side of the equation:
2t = 2

Divide both sides of the equation by 2.
t = 1

Here's your original post with the answers.
2t+1=3
it one of the following, but which one?
A) 1
B) -1
C) 2
D) -2

subtract one from each side, then divide each side by 2.
