It was a Saturday afternoon, and Chloe, Chris, Jameson, and Harry had decided to visit the amusement park that had recently opened in the city. The park was packed with families and youngsters like them, and the atmosphere there was electrifying.
For a while, the four friends played games and snacked on donuts and chips from food stalls, but after a while, they felt adventurous and decided to go on the big rides at the park.
The biggest and most thrilling ride at the park was the massive roller coaster. The four friends stood in line, and finally, when it was their turn, they sat down and put on the safety belts. The roller coaster slowly began to move upward on the track.
Chloe was thrilled at the thought that she was about to experience something so exciting. She could barely sit still in her seat, and she couldn't wait for the roller coaster to drop down and gain speed.
Jameson couldn't sit still in his seat either, but for a very different reason. Ever since he had seen the speed at which the roller coaster was moving when he was in line for the ride, he began having second thoughts. But he was too embarrassed to admit his fear to his friends and decided to go for the ride anyway. Now that he was actually about to experience it, he couldn't help but panic. He wanted nothing more than to be back on solid earth
Chris looked at Jameson and chuckled. Chris was used to going on such rides, and he did not feel afraid. He had always enjoyed them, but no longer found them thrilling or scary because he had experienced them often.
Harry was too happy to be spending such a good day with his friends to even realize the intensity of what he was about to experience. He rarely went out with his friends, and when he got the chance, he made the most of it.
Soon, the roller coaster gained speed and everyone began to scream at the top of their voices. The screams were a mixture of fear and excitement, and when the ride finally ended, everyone climbed out laughing and cheering. No matter what they felt at the beginning, they had all enjoyed the ride together.
