One of my favorite free-time activities is hiking, which I enjoy because it allows me to immerse myself in nature. I usually go hiking on weekends, and I often invite my friends to join me. While exploring scenic trails, I feel a sense of freedom and tranquility that I can't find in other activities. Hiking is different from my best friend’s favorite pastime, which is playing video games; whereas she enjoys the excitement of virtual adventures indoors, I prefer the fresh air and physical challenge of the outdoors. When we hike together, we sometimes talk about our favorite games, but I appreciate the natural beauty surrounding me, and she admires my enthusiasm for the great outdoors.

For example, where do you engage in this activity? When? How? Why do you like it so much? Why do you prefer it to other activities? How is the activity similar to or different from your best friend’s favorite pastime? Check that you have capitalized and punctuated sentences correctly. Also, be sure to place phrases and clauses appropriately and avoid inappropriate shifts in pronoun number and person.
