The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) has some pros and cons. On the pro side, it helps protect against hacking and cybercrimes, making the internet safer for everyone. However, on the con side, it can be too broad and sometimes punish people too harshly for small mistakes, like accessing a computer without permission unintentionally. In my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons because protecting people from serious cyber threats is more important than worrying about minor offenses.
