4. How many molecules of carbon dioxide would be formed if 6.75 g of propane is burned in the following reaction?

1 answer

I don't see a following reaction but I assume it is
C3H8 + 5O2 ==> 3CO2 +4H2O
mols C3H8 = grams/molar mass = 6.75/44 = 0.153
1 mol C3H8 will form 3 mols CO2; therefore, 9,153 mols C3H8 will form 3*0.153 mols CO2 or 0.460 mols CO2.
1 mol of molecules is 6.02 x 10^23 molecules so
0.469 mols will contain ........... molecules.
