3L=7 what would L be? i was multipling

- 7*5= 35 then divide by 3..but that
5 does not check right

divide both sides by 3

3L/3 = 7/3

L = 7/3

if it was 3L/5 = 7
(3/5)L = 7
(5/3)(3/5)L = (5/3)(7)
L = 35/3

the question is to divided 3L by 5 to equal or total up to 7...that's how I took it would the answer then change to ..I would multiply the 7 by 5 then divide them by 3..no?
