Area of garden NOT covered with stone border
= (15-2x)(6-2x)
so
(15)(6) - (15-2x)(6-2x) = 100
solve this resulting equation for x
= (15-2x)(6-2x)
so
(15)(6) - (15-2x)(6-2x) = 100
solve this resulting equation for x
