I need help with this;

There are 100 floors on a building. 50 are painted red and 50 and painted blue. The number of red floors on the top half plus the number of blue floors on the bottom half are equal to 56. How many red floors are there on the top half?

56 - 50 = 6

The previous answer isn't right because their are red and blue on each floor

The person who posted the question must not have enough expirence or time to sit down and realize that this was totally wrong. As for the answer i have worked on it for a while and can't seem to solve it

I was looking at Kenny's problem and I don't understand what you mean by the previous answer was not right and what you came up with?

kenny are you sure that you wrote the question down correctly if so then56-50 willnot work because if there is 6 on the top then there has to be 44 reds on the bottom. because on the top there is reda and blue
