The Internet is a vast and open space, where any kind of information can be used or abused. Cyber bullying is a recent trend that has emerged as a result of this over-reliance on social media. Many teenagers fall victim to cyber bullies, who take advantage of the anonymity of the Internet.
Teenagers must be made aware of the dangers of social media. While using social media sites is acceptable, the important thing to remember is that this must be done in moderation.
