“Of Mice and Men” is about two people who are considered outsiders. Lenny has a mental disability and George takes care of him. Unfortunately, in the end, George was unable to help Lenny. I think the story shows us that people who are different are often mistreated and/or ignored. It’s like survival of the fittest and people and animals who are weak and can’t stand up for themselves have a difficult time. It’s hard not to feel bad about the characters. They have a really special relationship and look out for each other. It would be a much better world if we were all like this with each other.
