How many molecules of ammonia are produced from: 2.58x10^-4g of Hydrogen?
My balanced equation:
3H2 + N2 = 2NH3
I worked this question as:
mol of H = 2.58x10^-4g/1.00794g/mol=
2.559676x10^-4 mol
mol of NH3 produced = 2x2.559676x10^-4mol/3mol NH3 = 1.706450701x10^-4
Molecules = 1.706450701x10^-4 x 6.023x10^23
= 1.027x10^20 molecules. I entered 1.03x10^20molecules & got it completely incorrect!!!
What did I do wrong?!! Am I way off?!

mols H2 = 2.58*10^-4/2 (not 1).
The process for conversion to mols NH3 is ok. I think you answer is just twice what it should be.
Try that and see how it goes. If you still have trouble, post your new work and we will gladly help you through it.

By the way, I think you are carrying far too many digits. I usually carry one more than I am "allowed" which would mean 4 places since your first number is 2.58*10^-4.

THIS time I got it correct!
answer = 5.13x10^-19 molecules!
THANK YOU soooo much!!
I only had 2 attempts remaining!
