The Silk Road was a series of trade routes that connected China to Europe. It was established during the Han Dynasty, around the 2nd century BCE. As a merchant, I would export goods such as silk, porcelain, and tea from China. I would import spices, textiles, and precious metals to bring back to China, enriching our culture and economy through these valuable exchanges.

The name “Silk Road” comes from China’s most important export: silk. The Chinese exchanged silk and other luxury goods for a wide range of other products.
