If everyone died today within two years the toxins of the chemical-plants would reach so high that the radiation would cause the factories that are producing bombs and fireworks to explode leading to the destruction of many man-made and nature things. Eventually causing destruction close to the core of the earth. Even if the animals don't die from the bombs they will from the pollution in the air by the toxins released. So we have pretty much already destroyed the earth there is no going back.
