Hello Everyone! This portfolio is not going to change a lot. However, there are a few changes. First, I am only going to require that you complete the visual presentation. You will not be required to turn in the worksheet. Your presentation can be a poster (as explained in the lessons directions) or a PowerPoint if you would prefer. With the presentation you should include the following things. Two photos that represent each of the discussed social classes during the industrial revolution (Upper, Middle, and Working Class). Brief description of what each picture is about and why it represents the appropriate social class. A final comparison between two social classes of your choosing. Your comparison should be approximately 5-7 sentence and explore things like differences in housing, clothing, food, jobs, leisure activities, etc. Citations in MLA or APA format at the end!

Presentation Format

Content Requirements

  1. Two Photos for Each Social Class:

  2. Comparison Between Two Social Classes:

    • Comparison of the Middle Class and Working Class: The Middle Class and Working Class during the Industrial Revolution differed significantly in various aspects of life. Housing for the Middle Class was typically more spacious and well-maintained compared to the cramped and dilapidated conditions of the Working Class neighborhoods. Clothing also varied; the Middle Class dressed in quality fabrics and stylish attire, while the Working Class often wore functional, worn clothing due to financial constraints. In terms of diet, the Middle Class enjoyed a variety of nutritious foods, while the Working Class faced challenges in accessing sufficient and healthy meals.
