My thoughts instantly go back to Brown v. Board of Education because even though they had outlawed segregation in schools there was still racial issues and this really brings that to light especially the slogan “We shall overcome” because technically one could say “Yea there’s no more segregation so what’s the problem? You guys overcame that issue” When that’s not true.
