Please help with this math problem. The math question asks, "Identify the numerator and denominator of the fraction 3/8.

Please let me know if I am correct? numerator is the 3 and te denominator is the 8.

Is this a trick question? My professor want me to show my work, so this tells me that this question isn't that easy. Please help! Thanking you in advance.
