I am having trouble solving this complex fraction. Can you adise me to work it out? The denominator I am using is 4. Is that right?

1/x - 3/2
----------
3/4 + 1/x

1 answer

Multiply the numerator and the
denominator of the complex fraction by
4x:

(4x*1/x-4x*3/2) / (4x*3/4+4x*1/x)=
(4-6x) / (3x+4) = 2(2-3x) / (3x+4).
