i don't know how to get rid of the fractions in these linear equations, can someone help ?
one: 9/2(x+3) -4 =23
two: 3/4(24-8x)=2(5x +1)

For equations that contain fractions, I usually multiply each side by the LCD I see
for the first one I would multiply by 2
for the second I would multiply by 4
I will do the second, then you do the first
3/4(24-8x)=2(5x +1)
3(24-8x) = 8(5x+1)
72 - 24x = 40x + 8
64 = 64x
x = 1
for the first one I would multiply by 2
for the second I would multiply by 4
I will do the second, then you do the first
3/4(24-8x)=2(5x +1)
3(24-8x) = 8(5x+1)
72 - 24x = 40x + 8
64 = 64x
x = 1
