1. Use the Internet to identify an example of a real-life team. Be sure to choose one that meets two criteria: (1) it’s not part of a for-profit business and (2) you can argue it’s highly effective. State the name of your team list its web site and give a brief description of the team to include their mission.
2. Determine the reasons for the team’s effectiveness. (Hint: You might look for web sites sponsored by the group itself, review online news sources for current articles about it, or enter the group’s name in a search engine.) Consider team characteristics and activities, such as role structures, norms, cohesiveness, and conflict management.
3. What can a manager learn from the characteristics and activities of this particular team? How might the factors that contribute to this team’s success be adopted in a business set.

Here are two non-profit organizations' websites:
http://www.houstonfoodbank.or
and
http://www.sohmission.org/NetCommunity
Either one would fit the criteria in question 1. Be sure to let us know what you discover.

When you type in all-caps, two things happen:
**it's harder to read, and
**it's the online equivalent to SHOUTING (considered rude behavior).
Please just type in regular mode, not with the Caps Lock feature turned on. Thanks.

Please don't use all caps. They're hard to read and considered shouting.
I don't see anything about an "online team." The first question tells you to:
1. Choose a real-life management team for a non-profit organization.
I suggest you choose a local charity -- such as the Red Cross or Loaves and Fishes. Find its website, and get as much information as you can there. If you can't find everything, you can always interview someone from that organization in person.
