Suppose you knew the maximum height reached by a proejctile. Could you find its launch angle from this information alone? If not, what additional information would be required?
(No it is not enough, the initial velocity? i also think yes because the highest the angle can be is 45deg confused plz help)

No, you cannot find launch angle just from max height. However, if you knew the horizontal velocity at max height, you could figure launch angle.

You need more than the maximum height to get the launch angle. The maximum height can be related to the VERTICAL COMPONENT of velocity.
A 45 degree launch angle gives you the maximum HORIZONTAL range, for a given launch velocity.
