graph the equation by plotting the points: 35-5y=0
i know how to put the solutions on the graph. i am stuck on this equation.
i think x=0 but i can not figure for y. please help me and show me the steps to solve this.

first solve for y:
35-5y=0
-5y=-35
y=7
*you can actually rewrite this as:
0x + y = 7
notice the equation has a definite value of y (which is 7) while you can substitute any number on x (since when it is multiplied by zero, the product is always zero),, y is therefore independent on the value of x,,
therefore, the graph of y=7 is a horizontal line passing through the y-axis at point (0,7), and will never pass at the x-axis,,
so there,, =)
