An equation using the numbers 2,4,6 and 8 to get the answer to be nine. You may use multiplication, division, subtraction, addition, and parenthesis. im so stumped.

Can you use exponents?
If so, how about
(6/2)^(8/4) = 3^2 = 9 ?
If not, try this:
8 + [6/(2+4)] = 9
If so, how about
(6/2)^(8/4) = 3^2 = 9 ?
If not, try this:
8 + [6/(2+4)] = 9
