A cubic model of the yearly worldwide carbon emissions is W=-0.051x3 + 2.93x2 + 74.6x + 1589 where W is the weight of the emissions in millions of tons and x is the number of years since 1950. Use synthetic division to evaluate the model for the year 1960.

Why use synthetic division? Just compute the value of W when x = 10. That is the value of x in 1960.
