Need mathamatical expression. The simple interest rate, given that the principal is 3x, the rate is 6%, and the time is 1 year. im so lost with this math question.

are you fining the interest?
then
interest = principal x rate x time
= 3x(.06)(1)
= .18x
then
interest = principal x rate x time
= 3x(.06)(1)
= .18x
