A steel ball is dropped from a hight of 50 m ,how far does the ball travel during the 3rd second of the fall.

during the third second? Do this.
how far during the third second= how far in three seconds-how far in two seconds.
distance= 1/2g (3^2-2^2)
It does not matter from where it was dropped.
