Choices for both are Alcohols,Alkanes, Alkenes, Aromatics
I think for 1. is at least Alkenes and maybe Aromatics and Alkanes.?

1. I think alkene is the answer. Aromatics undo a substitution reaction (addition for alkenes) but it requires UV light, or catalyst, or elevated Tand I don't consider that immediate I don't consider alcohols as a hydrocarbon.
